CVFD hosts Explorer Post 4300 which started Aug. 8th, 2005. Explorers are a Coed Division of  The Boy Scouts of America with members aged 14-21 that learn the basics of firefighting and EMS while exploring the possibility of careers for the future.

The Fire Dept. offers fire prevention programs and training to schools and groups in our fire district. Annual talks are given to elementary and preschool groups during fire prevention week. Tours of the Fire Station are given to scout groups throughout the year. Special training on use of fire extinguishers is given to commercial establishments by request. If you would like to request a tour or training, contact the Fire Chief: Chief@cvfd-fire.org
