Serving an 11-square-mile area within the Town of Newburgh, Orange County, NY, our department is built on the foundation of volunteerism and professional excellence. We operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, ensuring that every dollar donated and every hour volunteered goes directly back into community safety and emergency preparedness. The members also attend conferences and meetings with other fire departments to lobby for the fire service, and attend parades at local, county and state levels. Special committees are formed with other departments for emergency planning, training, and family oriented activities and events.
